FOR PROPER MEASUREMENTS: Stand with your back straight in front of a full-length mirror. Wear a well-fitted, non-padded bra. When measuring waist/hips, strip down to underwear that isn't cinching your waist.
Measure your bust size
  • Wrap soft tape measure around the fullest part of your bust.
  • Tape should be straight and parallel with the floor.
  • Bring the ends together in center front and don't pull too tight.
Measure your underbust (brand) size
  • Wrap soft tape measure so it rests just under your bust, where your bra band would sit.
BUST SIZE rounded up to whole # UNDERBUST (BAND) SIZE
CUP SIZE # (1"= A cup, 2" = B cup, etc)
Measure your bust size
  • Stand straight and bend over to the front or side. Where your body creases is your natural waist.
  • Wrap the tape measure around your natural waist, parallel to the floor.
  • Don't hold your breath or suck your stomach in. Don't pull the tape too tight.
  • Hold your body erect in a comfortable standing position.
Measure your hip:
  • Wrap the tape measure around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks, parallel to the floor.
  • Be sure to prevent yourself from drawing it too tightly.
  • Keep your feet together and your legs straight.
You'll also need a soft measuring tape
  • Starting at a shoulder, wrap the measuring tape down your front, between your legs, and up your back to the point you started.
  • If you plan to purchase a bandeau swimsuit or a tank swimsuit, you'll want to be sure that the the torso fits well.
